600 x 600 x 18mm Merbau Multi-Use Panel

The SpecRite Multi-Use Merbau Timber Panel can be used for indoor and outdoor applications, such as serving boards and table tops. Made from select grade, kiln-dried, solid merbau pieces joined together by weather-resistant, Class A bond glue, this panel is strong and durable with a high quality, premium look and feel. Before installing, ensure sufficient climatisation at the place of installation. When installing, ensure sufficient space is left to allow the wood to expand to prevent deformation when the humidity changes. Seal all sides of the board with an appropriate treatment - oil, wax, lacquer or paint, before use.

Before installation, apply a generous amount of wax or oil to all the panel surfaces, paying particular attention to the underside, cut edges and back edges that may not be accessible after installation. Follow the wax or oil manufacturer’s instructions for application, recommended drying times between coats, and maintenance to ensure your panel continues to be protected. Re-treat as necessary.
